Overview
Foundations of Trauma is a prerequisite for Trauma-Informed Practice.
Trauma shapes how people think, feel, and respond to the world, but it is often misunderstood. This practical and engaging workshop provides a clear, accessible foundation for a better understanding of what is happening beneath the surface for individuals impacted by trauma and how to respond in a way that is safe, supportive, and effective.
You will explore how trauma affects the brain, body, and relationships, and build the skills to respond with greater confidence, clarity, and care. Just as importantly, this course looks at healing and how to sustain yourself while supporting others.
As your understanding grows, so will your ability to connect, communicate, and respond skilfully in real-world situations.
